Effra

Effra is the core brand font at Toast, carefully selected for its clean lines and humanist shapes. Use Effra for headlines and as the primary typeface for any brand deliverables. The flexible sans serif family's consistent curves and rounded forms provide warmth and personality.

Source Sans Pro

Source Sans Pro is for body text. As our complementary typeface, it has been selected for its accessibility, clarity and legibility. As Adobe's first open source typeface family, Source Sans Pro is tried and true – built to work across digital applications and user interfaces to create versatile and legible user experiences. Even better, Source Sans Pro is free for anyone to use through Google Fonts and is available directly in the Google Suite application.

Typescale

The Toast type scale includes a range of contrasting styles that support the needs of our products and  content. The type scale is a combination of eleven styles that are supported by the type system. It contains reusable categories of text, each with an intended application and meaning. The brand font Effra is used for larger headlines, while Source Sans Pro supports small headlines, subtitles, body, and captions. Together, they create a cohesive typographic experience.
